Jennifer was born and raised in Philippines. She and her family migrated to United States over 30 years ago and settled in MD/DC/VA otherwise known as “The DMV area.” After graduating high school, she decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a Nurse, enrolling in Northern Virginia Community College full time while also working at several hospitals at the same time. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from George Mason University where she met her husband, who was a Marine GySgt in the Navy Medical Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECP) at that time.

Jennifer set her career aside to raise their children full-time while supporting her husband throughout his military career. She was a member and participated in many community outreach programs such as the Tidewater Oakleaf Club, Tidewater Officers Spouse’s Association, PNAMDC, GMU Nursing Externship program.

Before her husband’s retirement in 2021 from the Navy, they’ve decided to settle roots in Northwestern Suburbs IL. Jennifer and her family continue to serve the military community. Her husband is a Primary Care Registered Nurse with the VA, serving many veterans in both Illinois and Wisconsin while she and her children continues to volunteer for the Blue Star Family, USO, local schools and at St. Joseph church in Libertyville.
