Eric Gibbs
Administrative Assistant

Eric Gibbs Joined the VAC in September 2026. He was originally from the shores of North Carolina and raised in the small town of Engelhard. After graduating High School, he entered the US Army as a Cavalry Scout.

During his time in the Army, Eric served in Europe with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Bad Hersfeld, Germany, until drawdown of the unit a year later, and was transferred to ¾ Cavalry attached to 3rd Infantry Division for his 2-year tour.

After Serving 2 years in Europe, he was sent to Ft Irwin, CA and served with Operations Group as a Live Fire Trainer for armor and mortars. Training the force for future conflicts and Operations Other Than War. After his active-duty service Eric did another 2 years in the California National Guard before leaving the service.

Since the Military, Eric has worked in many fields, from sewage treatment to administration. However, it was not until he landed at James A Lovell FHCC that he found a passion for serving and helping his fellow Veterans. This led him to the VAC and a career serving Veterans and making their lives better.

When not at work, Eric is an avid gamer, loves time in the kitchen and spends as much time as possible with his family. However, he has been banned from karaoke nights due to a lack of talent.
