I was born in McHenry, Illinois. I met my husband in high school, and after we got married. He joined the Marine Corps, which took us to Japan. We lived there for two and a half years before returning to the United States.
While in Japan, I earned my associate’s degree, and I’m now working toward my bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as my real estate license. During our time overseas, I rescued three kittens and brought two of them back with me.
For now, we’re settled in Lake County until my husband completes his military service.
